5 Seconds of Summer at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre
5 Seconds of Summer are an Australian pop-rock band formed in Sydney in 2011. Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin began as high-school musicians posting cover videos online, then built an international audience after touring with One Direction in 2013. Their energetic mix of pop-punk hooks and polished rock has helped them sell more than 10 million albums worldwide.
The band's catalogue spans five studio albums, including Youngblood, their major commercial breakthrough, and 5SOS5, released in 2022. The latter reached the top 10 in Australia and the UK and peaked at No. 6 on the US Billboard 200. Songs such as “Youngblood,” “She Looks So Perfect,” “Amnesia” and “Complete Mess” reflect the group's evolution from pop-punk beginnings to more personal, mature songwriting.
